Clearing hook

Clearing hook

A clearing hook is a dragging hook shot with an assault rifle. Typically, a clearing hook is used to remotely launch sensitive scatterable mines, tripwires, or wire-action anti-personnel mines.

The traditional usage includes shooting the hook part over the area to be cleared, and then pulling the cord to drag the desired trail. The product includes a launch tube to be attached to an assault rifle and a launchable clearing hook to which the pull cord is attached.

STIS and SFIS initiation systems

STIS and SFIS initiation systems

The STIS (Shock Tube) and SFIS (Safety Fuse) initiation systems are optimal in clearing when electronic or wireless initiation systems cannot be used.

The STIS and SFIS systems enable clearing in the vicinity of large power lines, transformers, or radars, for example. Read more about the
STIS and SFIS products.
